Split-up Fan-work pages --April 15th, 2003

This update includes 8 fan-fictions (7 new, 1 a continuation), 23 fan-arts, 8 Fan-wallpapers and 1 fan-made WinAmp skin. You also may notice that the Fan-art and Fan-wallpaper sections have been divided into multiple pages for (hopefully) quicker loading times. Both sections are still organized by date -- from oldest to newest -- so if you miss an update, the last page contains the newer entries. The newest additions are still going to be at the top of the first pages, though.

There have also been a few slight changes made to the main side navigation menu, nothing too notable. However, we are working on completely redoing most sections of the site.

New rules for Fan-Wallpaper submissions --February 5th, 2003

Starting next site update, I'll be setting stricter rules for the fan-wallpapers and will only be adding wallpapers that are exceptionally good. I don't want to have to do this as I hate being put in a situation where I must judge submissions. However, fan wallpapers very rarely contain artwork done by the 'artists' themselves anyway. They are nearly always comprised of official art or screenshots. It can take me hours to work on the Fan-Wallpapers each time I update them and I no longer have the time to add every single fan wallpaper I get. It's been over a year since I've been able to add any information on the 'official' games. I haven't even touched the SR2 or BO2 sections of the site since the games' releases. And I decided that this needs to be given a higher priority. Otherwise, realistically, I'll never get to it. 

I also request that people refrain from submitting several similar variations of the same wallpaper with their submissions. In the past I had given wallpapers that were similar to each other their own thumbnails and pages, at a time when I didn't have that many wallpapers. In the more recent past I had been putting similar wallpapers that were from the same artists on the same page, with just one thumbnail. But due to space constraints I now ask that you pick just one wallpaper to be posted. Thanks.

Fan-works Updated --January 25th, 2003

This update contains 7 new fan-arts, 6 fan-fics, two of them being continuations, and 4 Fan made WinAmp skins. 

Recategorized Fan-Fictions --January 10th, 2003

The fan-fic section has been remodeled so that the stories are now classified by the game that most contributed to inspiring them. (Since the Soul Reaver section is the largest, it has been broken down into the sub-categories of "Empire" and "Post-Empire".) Seeing as how we now have three dissonant teams of people who have created 'official' games, and each has its own vision for The Legacy of Kain, which often conflict with each other, it can no long be taken for granted that all the events of each game flow together into a consistent time line.

Two new fan-fics have been added as well. 

More fanarts and some fan-fics --January 7th, 2003

More fanworks added --December 30th, 2002

This update presents 10 new fan-arts, 12 new fan-wallpapers, 3 new fan-made Winamp skins, and 2 new fan-fics. 

More fanworks including Fan-skins --December 16th, 2002

This update I managed to add 7 Fan-arts, 12 Wallpapers, 2 Fan-fics (one new, one a continuation), and 4 new Winamp Fan-skins. 

More Fan-works added --December 9th, 2002

This update concludes the mass of Fan-arts I had collected during the past months of site inactivity. However, I broke up the Fan-wallpapers; many more are to be added next update. One fan-fic has been added, with several pending for next week.

Extensive fan-work updating continues --November 20th, 2002

This update entails 21 new Fan-arts, 9 Fan-wallpapers, and 16 new Fan-fics, one being a continuation.  There are also two new fan-arts inspired by a fan-fiction, which can be found in the "Post-Blood Omen/Pre-Soul Reaver" section. 

Please keep in mind that not all fan-arts and fan-wallpapers that have been submitted to me have been added.  I have been trying to get caught up on the mass of fan-works that has been collected over the past six months and I am trying to add them in manageable groups at a time.  So if you have submitted a fan-art or fan-wallpaper and do not see it added on this update, that does not necessarily mean that it will not be added.

More fan-works; Updated navigation bar --November 13th, 2002

12 New Fan-arts and 7 new Fan-fics; 5 being new stories and 2 continuations. Please note that the rules for the Fan-arts have been updated -- Please read them over if you're thinking of submitting a piece. Thanks. 

Also, the navigation bar to the left has changed slightly. I needed to move things around to allow for future expansion and to hopefully make navigation easier. I added a site map as well.

Part of Overdue Update --August 8th, 2002

After falling horribly behind in updating the site, quite a large amount of fan-arts and fan-fics have added up. I am now trying to add them to the site, as time permits. There are many more coming than what has just been added, so if you have submitted something and you don't see it on the site yet, I probably just haven't gotten to it yet. Thank you for your patience. 

Blood Omen 2 review, coming soon...-- April 15th, 2002 -- (BO2 section update)

Having finally endured "Blood Omen 2", I hope to post my thoughts on this game soon. Do not confuse the information in the "Game Info" section as being a review -- that was my preview of the game long before it came out, and I have neglected to update the section since.

Fan arts re-sorted and Mp3s back --February 20th, 2002

Since the number of fan-arts have grown considerably over the past year, I have now sorted them by artist name. 7 more arts newly added; 2 new fan-wallpapers. Fan-fictions to be updated soon. 

Due to popular demand (and thanks to 7Host.com), the Mp3s are available for download again.

There are 6 new fan-arts, 5 fan-wallpapers, and some fan-fic chapters.

Unfortunately, I had to disable the FTP once again due to bandwidth.

Also, yes, during the holiday season the site was down due to bandwidth again. The FTP will be disabled again soon and Mp3s moved somewhere else in order to prevent this happening again... 

FTP enabled and Fan-fictions added --December 7th, 2001

I am taking my chances and reopening the Anon FTP for downloads, which means the Mp3s and wallpapers are again available. It will remain open as long as bandwidth is not scarce.

A few fan-fics are added. There are more to be looked over, and some currently pending due to content.

More fan-works --November 6th, 2001

This very small update brings two new Fan-arts and one fan-wallpaper. 

Soul Reaver 2 is here! -- November 1st, 2001 -- (SR2 section update)

As you read this, Soul Reaver has already been released and is in stores. On Halloween, the first shipment were already in some stores. Those wanting the PC version will have to wait a little bit longer, no date clearly specified as of yet. Also, the PC Version will only be sold exclusively at EB, Babbages/Gamestop, and at the Eidos Store. 

A spoiler warning relating to the SR2 DVD extras: Most of the extras added to the disk contain very spoiling information in them, thus in order to keep people from spoilng the game for themselves the extras are protected by a passcode that you will get upon completing the game. However, this code will most likely be passed around the 'net once people learn it. If you happen to come across this code and actually care about the story, then you are urged to not unlock these extras ahead of time. 

Note on screenshot section. The screenshots had been "coming soon" for a while now, so what gives? With all the other gamesites showing hundreds of the sames screens, there was really no use to post any yet. I plan to post some in the future, for informative reasons if any. 

Also, the information that was in the Information section has been moved to the Links section.
