As Raziel approaches the temple is confronted by two demon hunters one with a moon shaped blade and another with a curved pike and as with always the cowards have a human back up with a cannon strapped to his back. Raziel tiered of having to deal with mobious's pitiful soldiers unleashes the Reaver which is hungry and tiered of feeding on Raziel and makes sort work of the humans as Raziel recovers and takes the excess blood from his hands he approaches the temple once again only to realize that fire now spreads around him like a swarm of locust and up from the depths of hell it self arises a fire demon enraged with all the years on solitude and torment and determined to stop Raziel. "Do you think you can pass little one? YOU ARE NOTHING except that" Raziel turns to the demon ever weary of the surroundings "really…if that is so then how does it benefit you to waste time trying to stop me from entering that tomb? The demon groans and moves away from the steps leading up to the tomb, turns to Raziel "if you wise to enter this tomb by all means just go and fulfil your desire" the demon turns to eat one of the dead humans while Raziel notices that there is a sentinel eye on top of the temple and that he had the means to deactivate it but it would take a moment of concentration and that would give the demon an opportunity to attack, Raziel plays along and pretends to charge the Reaver, "I do not care whether or not you enter the tomb but killing you is a hobby". The demon lunges at him with his claws and Raziel predicting this leaps into the air over the demon and at that moment you could hear thunder as the clouds clashed it was a perfect moment in this battle as raziel a demon so determined to find out the truth about his destiny and a fire demon whose goal was to destroy him. The demon uses his fire breath forcing Raziel to leap back near the edge of the cliff, Raziel already defeating a hand full of fire demons already new their weakness and used his knowledge, raziel leaped on the demons back plunging his arm in to the demons spin ripping out chunks of his flees and spilling his blood all over the earth the demon not so easily disposed of reaches back and grabs Raziel and crushing his arm and his chest Raziel yells in agony as the demon flings him in to the air like a raged doll, raziel arises and charges forward with the reaver, as the demon aligns his body to charge, Raziel leaps at his face slashing and taking his curved horn and half his face in the process and as the demon roars in pain Raziel plunges the Reaver in to the side of the demon giving it enough time to become aroused an gather enough energy to obliterate the monster but Raziel needed to feed, he stalled, the demon swung his arm and Raziel fell to his feet. The demon half dead at this stage used a fire ball hitting Raziel forcing him to skid across to the steps of the air temple the demon furious races at raziel with all his might, Raziel playing possum at the entrance until the demon gets close enough "die" Raziel leaps over the demon with his unholy powers, and tackles the demon from behind and pushes him close enough to the eye sentinel, the eye gleamed as it charged up and then unlessed its energy on the demon, blood and organs were disintegrated and his bones were turned to dust right in front of raziels eyes. Raziel weak from the battle consumes his soul and regains his energy, he uses the dark Reaver to deactivate the eye, as he approached the door opened up and raziel was one step closer to finding the truth about his destiny and a step closer to kain. |
