The Story of Christo

By Christopher

The Sea! I always wanted to see the ocean… the great southern lake… the City of Meridian. When I was young, I decided to travel to there. But I hadn’t got enough courage to do this step. They said, the Vampires are recruiting an army to attack the innocent cities of Nosgoth. I thought: “That’s gossip!”. Now I know it better…
I was growing up in Vasserbünde. One day, when I left my house and going through the streets, I heard a whisper. It said, that I should come to the mansion of the rich man, Sciat was his name. Foolish than I were I did it. In the shadow I realised that there was someone. I saw a dark silhouette of a man but he was big and he seemed to be very strong. He pulled me to him and spoke to me:
“So, you a little Christo. I was watching you for a long time. Good, that you do not believe the crap of which those bunch of Idiots talking about!”
“Wh-o-o-o are you? You’re strange!”
Then suddenly I recognised his voice: it was the whisper. And the a dark thought came up to me… he must be a vampire! I were afraid. But he hold me at my arm.
“You are worthy. Ha, you have no other choice. Join our great army.”
With a laughter he killed me. I crashed down on the ground. I couldn’t see exactly what he was doing but something strange happened to me; indeed to my body. It seemed that sharp teeth were growing out of my old ones and my body became more athletic. My bizeps were getting bigger, nearly the double-size. At last I felt an unbelievable pain in my stomach and then it disappeared, so fast as it came.
“So, now you are one of my kind!”
“Really? I feel little different.”
“With the time you will feel the massive difference between humanity and vampirism. You’re much stronger and more agile than a human. You also have abilities, which are unique. Only you posses them.”
“And what are they? Turn into smoke?”
“You will discover them by the time, too.”
I felt anger whenever he said, it would come by the time. I wanted to know them now!
“By the way… my name’s Magnus, first warrior of our leader, Kain! When our army’s big enough and when we’re ready, we will attack!”
So the “gossip” was the truth. I couldn’t believe it. My stomach was rumbling.
“I feel hungry.”
“Surely. Come with me. We’re going to go into the town… for our meal!”
