"This piece is another bit of creative speculation on my part, again centered around the sequel to Soul Reaver. Raziel, trapped in the past, is swayed by the honeyed words of Vorador to the plight of the vampires. Coming to the final battle with the Seraphim as a mere observer, Raziel is inevitably drawn in against his will. Forced to fight, he kills all in his path, human and vampire alike. That is, until he faces and kills one of the final Seraphim. Ripping off his foe's battered helm, he comes face to face with his past, his path now come full circle. Raziel...has killed himself."
